The Windmill & Clubroom | from an original sketch by Ray Nurse |
Turn off the A12 either at Mountnessing roundabout or at Ingatestone slip-road and then travel to the centre of Mountnessing village. The entrance is via the small roadway on the opposite side of the road to, and midway between, the "Prince of Wales" and "Plough" Public Houses. The entrance to the car park is the second on the left down the road.
During the racing season the Hall serves as a base for the Evening 10's programme and is open earlier for those races that start at 6.30 pm. The Village Hall is also used for the "Trophy 10" which is held on a Sunday morning in October.
In the winter months the activities include turbo training under guidance from a registered coach. Occasionally special events such as Coaching lectures are organised and the Annual General Meeting is held at the Hall. There is always the opportunity to chat with friends over a nice cup of tea, which is provided, along with cakes, rolls, soft drinks, etc., from the Canteen manned by Club volunteers.
